Happy MLK Day!

I hope you had a wonderful holiday today!  I love our MLK activities at school.  My sweet kiddos made paper art projects and wrote about their own dreams for our world.  Even though we can celebrate Martin Luther King, Jr.'s dream-come-true, we know that there is still sadness and injustices in our world.  Take a look at their precious projects and heart-felt wishes...
I have a dream... "that everyone would love each other."

I have a dream... "all kids would be loved."

I have a dream... "that no one would get sick."

I have a dream... "Kids be nice to other kids."

I have a dream... "I hope that all grown-ups are good."

I have a dream... "all children be treated nicely."

My favorite lessons are always the ones that incorporate character-development.  Happy MLK day!  May our world continue to become a happier, more love-filled place!

  1. Your MLK project is so adorable! I'm so happy to find some more great kindergarten bloggers! I've been teaching for years (mostly 3rd & 4th grades) but decided to change schools and the only spot open was.....kindergarten! So I took it....it's a WHOLE new world in kinder but I can't imagine doing anything else now! I'm your newest follower and look forward to getting to know you and learning some great new ideas!
